Sparn is an open-source collective based in France. We use agentic development to build programs and apps across every field we find interesting. Web apps, mobile apps, npm packages, browser extensions, hardware projects, VR experiments. If it can be built, we will probably try.
We push agentic workflows as far as they can go. AI agents do the heavy lifting, and we bring the ideas, the architecture, and the taste. The result is that a small team can ship at a pace that would normally require a much larger one.
Everything we make is open source. Every line of code is public, every decision is documented, and contributions from anyone are welcome.
We use AI agents as core collaborators in everything we build. They handle the repetitive work so we can focus on design, architecture, and the parts that actually need a human brain.
Web apps, mobile apps, CLI tools, npm packages, browser extensions, hardware prototypes, VR. We go wherever the idea takes us and we do not limit ourselves to one stack or one domain.
Everything we ship is public from day one. Code, docs, decisions. We think the best way to build good software is to do it in the open where anyone can contribute or learn from it.
What we are building right now.
Our process, from idea to release.
We find a real problem worth solving. Something we ran into ourselves, something the community keeps asking for, or just an idea that will not leave us alone.
We figure out the architecture, the scope, and the right stack for the job. Humans decide what to build and how. No detail is too small to think through.
AI agents handle the implementation, the boilerplate, and the iteration cycles. We review, steer, and make the calls that matter. Speed without compromising quality.
Everything ships open source from day one. Public repo, public docs, permissive license. Then we listen to feedback and keep improving.
Every project we build lives on GitHub from the first commit. We like working in public because it keeps us honest and lets other people learn from what we do, contribute to it, or take it in directions we never thought of. If you want to get involved, just open a PR or say hello.
